2023 - Our Journey of Hope Continues

You learn to cherish every day when you have advanced cancer.  You also learn to cherish every dollar contributed to research.

T cells are one type of white blood cell in our bodies that can recognize and kill cancer. Adoptive Cell Therapy (ACT) is an approach that aims to generate a large number of tumor-fighting T cells (typically billions) in the lab for use in therapy.

But ACT doesn’t work for many patients. To help more patients, proceeds from this year's golf tournament will be used to purchase the CELLCYTE X live cell imaging system.

This technology will allow Eric Tran, Ph.D., and his team of researchers at Providence Cancer Institute to test how well T cells can kill tumor cells, while also giving them insight into whether new strategies their lab is developing will enhance the ability of T cells to kill tumor cells.

The insights learned from the CELLCYTE X systems will help our researchers and doctors develop more effective treatments for cancer patients.

You are helping to accelerate research – research that is curing cancer already!
